First qiestion of many.

I play a match everyday and train as much as possible but I can only breakeven at best. am I doing something wrong or do we only train players for our future teams?

It appears that with such a poor transfer market it is very difficult to guarantee a profit on training.

Hello,

I'm a French player and I speak a little English. Furthermore, I played only 1 season on the new version of VF.
But, if i have understand your question, I answer with my way of proceeding.

I trained only young players in formation. If they had a ratio of 0, I let them in rest (break ?)
Because i think they spend some energy for very few progress, and they can be tired with the training and matchs, and I prefer had them in top form for matchs.

I don't know if you understand my answer, if you don't, someone will explain better than me ^^ And it's my processing, I don't know if everybody had the same

Hi Sarnie,
Happy to say you on our forum Smile

It's useless to train player if they already finished their evolution. It depends on the player, but when a player reach 24 years old, you dont need to train him anymore, he became an old player evenin if he's still young.
But if you have young players in your squad(17-23), then you need a strategy to improve them without "killing" them ^^

So, here's my strategy :
Day 1 : My young players are playing - none training
Day 2 : My old players' turn to play - young players training
Day 3 : same as day 1
Day 4 : same as day 2
During all the season.

For a game, my young players are tired and I always lose, but they improve so fast.
And my old squad is always on top form and ready to beat some asses haha

If you have any further question do not hesitate Smile

That strategy makes sense.

Do you know how a players rating is calculated. It appears that improving some statistic increases the players rating more than others. Is this correct?

Yes this is it. For each position there are secondary statistics that increase the player's rating.
For a forward for exemple, the most important is attacking, then technic and passing.
A forward get a better rating with 40 (att) 20 (tec) and 20 (pass) than 60-0-0

Is there somewhere that I can read up about secondary statistics anywhere? It would be useful to understand.
